Governance

A body for the governance and representation of the CEI, whose job it is to meet the goals established in the project and administrate the resources necessary for its proper development. The Governing Board of Trustees encompasses the main heads of the promoting agencies and the maximum authorities of the University of Salamanca.

• The President of the Social Council of the University of Salamanca

• The Vice-Rector of Economy of the University of Salamanca
• The Director of the Office of the Eighth Centenary of the University of Salamanca
• The General Manager of the CEI (Vice-Rector of Strategic Planning of the University of Salamanca)

This person is responsible for the supervision, execution and management of the financial matters of the Project, coordinating this with the strategy of the University of Salamanca.

• Dr. Humberto López Morales (Secretary of the Association of Language Academies)

This is formed by the Vice-Rectors of the Governing Board of the University of Salamanca, who are advised by the Executive Directors, designated by the promoting agencies. The Committee is responsible for the development of the Project in its four spheres of action and one Vice-Rector is responsible for each of these:

• Improvement in teaching and adaptation to the European Higher Education Area: the Vice-Rector of Teaching Affairs.
• Scientific improvement and knowledge transfer: the Vice-Rector of Research and Transfer.
• Transformation of the campus for the development of an inclusive social model: the Vice-Rector of Infrastructures.
• Interaction with the business and territorial context: the Vice-Rector of Strategic Planning.

The Vice-Rector of Internationalization and the Vice-Rector of Student Affairs work in close collaboration with the above authorities.

These are linked to each of the action fronts and are made up of the Heads of the University Services involved.

This body is responsible for the management, coordination and monitoring of the impact of the CEI; external experts in the field are involved.

This Director is responsible for the dissemination of the progress and achievements made in the development of the CEI Project.
