The CEI and the collaboration of the ONCE Foundation (Spanish National Organization for the Blind) have allowed us to develop USAL’s Accessibility Plan, incorporate adapted signposting on the campuses and undertake different works to rehabilitate spaces to provide universal accessibility and the integration of persons with a disability. Thus, architectural barriers have been eliminated with the building of access ramps (Oviedo Residence Hall, Salas Bajas Sports Installations, the stands in the Miguel de Unamuno Sports Centre), and the adaptation of bathrooms (Fray Luis de León Residence Hall) and dressing rooms (Miguel de Unamuno Sports Centre).
