B1. USAL MediaLab

The CEI has allowed us to implement USAL MediaLab, a space for fostering creativity and innovative methodologies in all areas of knowledge, based on an interdisciplinary collaboration that fuses science, technology, culture and society. MediaLab USAL has developed projects such as Creativity Workshops (promoting innovation in scientific work models, based on knowledge sharing and the integration of an interdisciplinary approach), PechaKucha (experimentation and discussion of initiatives, shared among the different disciplines and internal and external agents of the university, in order to initiate joint collaborations), Arduino (application of this free hardware platform to develop technological tools in research and transfer projects), 3D Printing (design and printing of objects in 3D), Digital Seminars (presentation of programming tools and their application in different academic disciplines, given by outside professionals) and Social Spaces (activities of knowledge transfer to society through presentations, exhibitions, artistic performances, etc.).
